Description:
If you are searching for the nice and bright house for you noble and shiny knight... well, turn away and never comeback ;D

This is a murky place. The place long forgotten. Only those who spill own blood may enter. Even the Evil must sleep sometimes. And wait. And stash its treasures somewhere.

In other words this house-mod is just a place to sleep. This is a pure storage area as well. No inventions, gadgets or other fancy stuff. Just crates, barrels, chests and bedroll.

Here's what this place can offer:
- Hideout in not so remote location, yet in the wild.
- Protected entrance by some blood ritual.
- Unique design (burned reliquary, cave, waterfalls, rocks, small forgotten cemetery, wild flora),
- Switchable sources of lights. You can switch them on/off at any time.
- Natural lights depend on day/night cycle.
- Wild and neutral Will-o-the-Wisp wandering inside the cave.
- Plenty of storage: 32 different non-respawning containers (crates, chests, barrels, sacks, lecterns, etc.).
Installation:
  • Copy 'MistyHideout.esp' and 'MistyHideout.bsa' files to 'Oblivion\Data' folder.
  • In Oblivion Launcher choose 'Data Files' from menu and mark the checkbox close to 'MistyHideout.esp'.
  • Run the game and load your any save. The Misty Hideout should be marked on your map just east of Arcane University on the other side of the bay. Go to the crossroads, look for the burned house and search for trapdor there. Inside the Burned Reliquary perform The Ritual to gain access to the cave.
  • SPOILER ALERT! If you can't figure out how to perform The Ritual do as follows: take the skeletal hand and ceremonial dagger from the altar and activate the casket nearby. Spill your blood. The door on the opposite side should open. Hint: you can activate the rune stone inside the cave to lift the Ritual Curse.
Removal:
  • Just delete these two files:
    Oblivion\Data\MistyCave.esp
    Oblivion\Data\MistyCave.bsa
Known Issues:
There shouldn't be any major ones ;]

Compatibility:
This mod isn't compatible with other mods that change exactly the same area where the trapdoor is located.
Credits given to:
  • Bethesda for such fine and moddable game.
