-=1: LORE=-

During the Merethic Era, when the Ayleids reigned supreme over the heartlands of Tamriel, their great Arcane Smiths frequently
forged powerfully enchanted weapons made of Meteoric Iron and Ayleid Steel, with Welkynd Stones to accentuate their enchanting power.
These weapons were frequently awarded to nobles and officers, and to common soldiers that performed beyond the call of duty in the face of the enemy.
Many of these weapons persist today, kept safe as collectors items in Ayleidophiles' houses, used by unsavory folk in the wilderness whom happen
upon them, or by the undead revenants of the very Ayleids that they were given to. Some have been laying untouched within Ayleid ruins for millenia.
A select few shall end up in the hands of a certain individual marked by fate to be the savior of all Tamriel.

-=2: INSTRUCTIONS=-

Extract all the files you find in this archive (excluding this readme) into your Oblivion/Data directory. The organization of the files within this archive
should automatically place all the files in their proper locations.

You have a variety of choices for ESP files. They are as follows:

1: Base
This one contains no loot lists; just the weapon entries, the secret cache, and the various articles hidden throughout several Ayleid ruins. In addition, you may buy them from
Ungarion, proprietor of "A Warlock's Luck" in Bravil.

2: Vanilla OB
This one is for those who have no loot list mods. It has loot lists that mimic the arrangement of the vanilla Oblivion loot lists, but with the Meteoric weapons included.
It includes all the placements from the Base version.

CHOOSE ONLY ONE OF THESE DEPENDING ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF YOUR LOOT LISTS! DO NOT LOAD BOTH AT THE SAME TIME!

NOTICE: The OBMM Conflict Detector WILL pick up conflicts between this mod and any loot list mod.

If you have the Beta version or are switching to a new loot list mod, you can keep your acquired weapons by choosing the new loot list ESP version for this mod, and renaming it to match the name of the old ESP.

To find them, engage Marauders, Minotaurs, Xivilai, or Undead until the loot is randomly generated in their possession. Alternately, you may happen upon one
just laying about in a dungeon. You may also buy them from Ungarion, proprietor of Bravil's "A Warlock's Luck" store. The TG11 Statues will spawn with special weapons that disintegrate like their original weapons.
The King of Miscarcand has a lootable Ayleid stave as well.
Alternately, you can consult the Spoiler form below, but it is strongly recommended to enjoy the mod the way it was meant to be.

-=3: VERSION HISTORY=-

0.8 beta: First issue. Models complete. Weapon entries and enchantments created. Secret cache created.
Hidden placements within various Ayleid ruins, houses, and guild halls completed.

1.0: All versions ready and (hopefully) bug-free. Bows and Arrows are now included, as well as a few Bow and a couple Arrow stashes. Ungarion
sells one Ayleid weapon (leveled), ten Ayleid standard arrows, and possibly three enchanted Ayleid arrows (leveled) and quite rarely, a Dark Welkynd-tipped arrow (leveled).
His stock replenishes every loot cycle, and the weapons are all exorbitantly expensive, thanks to their high gold value and enchantment value modifier. Loot List versions
are also included; one for Unmodified loot list games ("Vanilla"), one for Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul version 1.2X, and one for the upcoming Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul v1.3.
The base version also includes all the changes.

1.1: All weapons are now MOBS-Compliant in regards to damage, reach, and speed. A few new hidden locations added. All enchantments have undergone significannt streamlining and re-balancing.
OOO compatibility versions removed for two reasons: They were a headache to do, and OOO V1.3 and higher have these integrated directly, with full features.
Vanilla version (with Vanilla-styled loot list alterations) have a more balanced way of causing enemy NPCs and creatures to possibly spawn with these, so there won't be 5 Ayleid-weilding foes in the same dungeon.
Aetherial Magicka Flow abilities added: Equip these weapons during nighttime (8 PM to 6 AM) to get a Restore Magicka 1 ability.
New stave type: "Psyches Stava". Dominate the mind of your foe for a short time and make them fight for you. Offer void on Undead and Daedric foes. ;)

-=4: THANKS=-

Thanks goes primarily to Robert Djeke ("RDjeke") for modeling them, and for coming up with the idea! He put quite a lot of work into all these weapons.
Thanks also goes to Scruggsywuggsy_the_ferret for the scripting for making the standard Ayleid arrows be recoverable (sorta)!
And for making the Quinga possible, thanks goes to Windy for his method for making new Bow meshes.
Thanks goes to Jorge Salgado ("Oscuro") for including these weapons in Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul V1.3 and up and remaining faithful to their theme, and for writing the Aetherial Magicka Flow scripts!

RDjeke is currently missing and hasn't responded in some time. If anyone knows his wherabouts, email me...

-=5: LEGAL JUNK=-

These weapons are available as a modders' resource, so long as credit is given to MadCat221 (madcat221@gmail.com) and RDjeke (rdjeke@gmail.com). No permission is required.
Other modders are free and are in fact encouraged to make versions that work with other loot list-altering mods, as long as permission from the author(s) is acquired.

-=6: SPOILERS=-

I told you to enjoy the mod the way it was meant to be. Go play it already and quit reading this!

What's the deal? You think I'm gonna just hand them to you on a silver platter? Go out and EARN one!

Still here? C'mon already! By the time you're finished bugging me to give you one, you could have already found one yourself!

Oh, all right, ya little cheater, if you insist. Sheesh, you're persistent!

Ungarion in Bravil will sell one weapon determined by your current level. They most certainly will not show up until your character is seasoned a bit.
He will also sell ten Ayleid arrows, possibly a few magical Ayleid arrows, and rarely a Dark Welkynd arrow (leveled), which will kill anything in one hit.

This is a listing of every Ayleid dungeon or other locale that contains a weapon (or more than one) laying about,
listing the level it's on, and the particular weapon(s) you'll find. No exact locations; I'm not gonna do ALL the work for you!

Any weapon that is in a guild hall or house will be owned. You must exercise "Innovative Ownership Transferral" of varying degrees to acquire them.
You may be able to take them freely if you are of sufficient rank in the guild they're owned by.

In addition, you may find them in the hands of various creatures, any NPC that weilds an enchanted weapon, and in Ayleid-type boss chests.
In OOO v1.3, you may find them in several new high-yeild chests added to the game.

Before I send you to the Secret Cache, you must first record the cell you're currently in.

1: Open the console (a command line that can alter game functionality) by pressing the Tilde key (~) in the upper left corner under the Escape key.

2: Enter the command "sdt 0". Hit enter.

3: Enter the command "tdt". Some text should appear on your screen. Find the editor ID name of the cell. For example, in the IC Market District, it would say
"ICMarketDistrict01" or such. Write that down.

4: Now that you have that, enter "sdt" to remove the text.

5: Now enter the command "coc WarehouseAyleidWeapons".

6: A new cell loads, containing every individual enchanted Ayleid weapon in the series, as well as a shrine to the weapon that inspired them all (No you can't have it in this mod).
Close the console by pressing the Tilde key again.

7: Read the Ayleid tablet in front of you before ransacking the place...

8: When done cheating, enter the command "coc (cell)" where (cell) is the cell name you wrote down before. This will return you to the cell you were in, but probably not the exact location.

9: If you're stuck inside something when returning, use the console command "tcl" and move to a point where you are no longer stuck. Enter TCL again to return the game to normal.

Have fun with the Ayleid weapons! And stock up on Varla stones and filled soul gems, because you're gonna need 'em for these energy hog enchanted weapons.
